Age of Wushu Announced

Snail Games USA recently announced a new MMORPG by the name of Age of Wushu, known as Age of Wulin in Europe. Players can choose to play along six different storylines and eight different martial art schools. Age of Wushu is not class based and does not have a level system but will allow players to decide their own destiny as each action has it's own consequence. Age of Wushu has 5,000 equipment upgrades, 17 professions, and aerial combat (which we don't see so often).

Snail Games USA also publishes Ministry of War and The Chosen.

Wakfu Open Beta

Wakfu, a turn-based MMMO that I have personally been waiting forever for, has just announced that it is now in Open-beta. Though this does not mean it is officially launched yet, open-beta usually means that players can start playing without expecting any data wipes. If you have played Dofus, also by Ankama Games, before you will instantly notice the similarities. Although many features in both Dofus and Wakfu are locked from free players, Wakfu promises to have more free content than Dofus did. If you guys wanna play Wakfu, visit this website: http://www.wakfu.com/en/mmorpg

Aeria Games Acquisition

Big news in the MMO World, Aeria Games has just acquired ijji from NHN Corporation. What this means is that Aeria Games now owns all ijji games and have the rights to publish games that NHN, a Korean company, makes to the US. No information is given on whether or not ijji will be shut down, but ijji is now under ownership of Aeria Games. This may mean the transfer of service for a couple ijji games, but personally, I do not think it is necessary. Aeria Games, known for publishing Eden Eternal, Grand Fantasia, and FPS Repulse, now have a larger portfolio including ijji games such as Soldier Front and Alliance of Valiant Arms.
